58% of Americans Use Left-Leaning News Aggregators

A new study reveals that 58% of Americans rely on four major left-leaning news aggregators for their news consumption.

A recent report by the conservative Media Research Center (MRC) highlights that Apple News, Google News, Yahoo News, and MSN dominate the news consumption habits of 58% of Americans. The study, based on MRC's tracking data, found that these platforms heavily favor left-leaning publications while underrepresenting conservative sources. The MRC's analysis of 487 top stories on Google News revealed that only 2.2% were right-leaning, with 64.5% being left-leaning and 33.3% in the center. On Apple News, the findings were even more stark, with zero right-leaning stories among 620 top stories analyzed.

Impact
The findings suggest a growing influence of left-leaning media platforms on American news consumption, raising concerns about media diversity and bias.
